Nosferatu Player's Guide

Rotting Flesh

Equipment Used: Toilet paper, petroleum jelly, cotton swabs, tooth picks, hair dryer
Makeup Used: liquid latex, standard Halloween creme makeup (brown, red, purple)

To Do: Place a layer of jelly on the selected area. Place a strip of toilet paper over that and apply liquid latex on top. Make sure you still place some latex/toilet paper on your bare skin so it will not just slide off you. Dry with hair dryer. Take a tooth pick and work a few holes into the fake skin. It's fine if it lifts off you a bit. I think it adds to the effect. Apply some makeup in the holes and underneath the fake skin for raw flesh and bruising. Also apply on other sections of skin for bruising.

Notes: Great for Samedi characters, I was playing one at the time.
Use petroleum jelly underneath the large areas of toilet paper and latex to make it easier on you to remove. It hurts less. More then likely will have some sore spots anyway. It's like removing a giant band aid and will take off arm and face hair. Petroleum jelly helps give it a nice puffed, dead layer of skin and fat effect. Sadly I think these pictures don't do this effect justice. A woman actually thought I had gangrene and asked me if I was OK or did I need a doctor!
